For example, the Math section alone includes over 50 terms with definitions, 5 Mathematical
Properties, Roman Numerals info, Measurement Conversions, and more.

The Language Arts section includes a list of phonemes, Dolch sight words through level 3,
grammar terms and definitions, lists of the personal pronouns, a list of prepositions, and more.

This is just a small sampling of the information you will find in this section.

The Informational and Flashcard section also gives instructions on creating subject specific
Handbooks.
(See more info on the
Handbooks.)

III. Timeline Chest
A "hands-on" timeline
We have never had much success in using a book timeline.  We do not have the  space for a wall
timeline.  As I was browsing Homeschool in the Woods website, they had an example of an
index card timeline.  (
See it here.)  I have slightly adapted that idea by color coding the cards
based on the subject the timeline character would best represent.
(This idea used with permission.)

IV. Games and Activities
Games and activities using index cards and a generic file folder game board.  Also included are
a few ideas on creating other activities that would be review items for the student which are
self-correcting.

V. Home Maintenance
Includes several ideas using index cards that I have implemented into our home.  It contains
meal plans & Mom's chore system.
This also includes the index card chore organizer my kids have been using successfully for
over a year.
(Kid Chore Organizer Cards now available!)
